Hello, I'm Irene Lewis, but you can call me Bree. I am an amateur photographer using a variety of techniques, and open to exploring more, while satisfying my clients' photo and album wishes.
Ever since I was a child, I have loved taking photographs. In those days, I used the one-use disposable cameras. I wanted to show people how I see the world, and the stunning beauty I discovered that it held. But most of all, I enjoyed photographing the amazing variety of people I found in it, and taking each person I photographed on a journey through my camera lens.
I live and work in Sierra Vista, Arizona, but grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. When I was younger I had the thrill of learning and practicing digital photography in my photography class at high school. After moving to Arizona I started studying photography in college and I purchased my Canon EOS Rebel T5. I have discovered an entirely new world through its lens.
After being asked to photograph my niece's wedding I decided it was time to get serious about my work. I am thrilled to have a hobby that allows me to explore my creativity while documenting significant moments in my clients' lives. At every shoot, I learn something about love, something about life, and something about relationships. It is a tremendous honor to witness and document the love, emotion, and relationships that are part and parcel of my clients' lives.
I describe my photography as honest, sincere, and intimate. During the years I've spent developing my craft, I have honed my aesthetic sensibilities and technical skills. My primary focus is the beauty and raw emotion found in each moment. I love the romance of weddings, and the delight and innocence of children. Also, the excitement and challenge in other genres like cosplay and animal photography.
I approach each event and each session with attention, honesty, and love. I put my heart and soul into my work, and I believe that it shows in my photographs.
Making sure my client's have a good time and are comfortable with me as well as the session is one of my top priorities. Everyone has a story to tell and I want to be able to tell it with my own twist to it.
